Rewind to June 2020: in the middle of the pandemic shutdown in Utah, Morgan and her best friend, Jenna, were looking for new ways to stay sane and have some fun. Enter video games. Little did Morgan know that night she would meet the love of her life all the way in Kentucky. Morgan and Triston just happened to end up in the same game room and started a friendly competition. By the end of the night, Triston gave Morgan a way to contact him. Over the next few months, Morgan and Triston started talking nonstop—day and night—regardless of the time difference. Despite the challenges of being 1,400 miles apart and meeting online, their love grew day by day. After a year of FaceTimes and calls, they met in person for the first time in July of 2021, and it was magical.

Following that first meeting, they knew they had something special and would do everything in their power to make the relationship work. Jump forward two years and only four trips to see each other: Morgan graduated from university and made the courageous decision to pack up everything and move to Kentucky! For Morgan, it was the first time being more than 45 minutes from home, and for Triston, it was the first time having to share his space. It goes without saying that there were many learning curves in those first few months, but they were together, and nothing else mattered.
Fast forward to June 2025: Triston is busy working at a local telecommunications company, Morgan has just been accepted into a Physical Therapy Assistant program in Louisville, and they are moving into their first house together! On June 19, Triston tells Morgan he is at their house setting up the internet and needs her to bring one last box from his parents’ house. Morgan walks in to find Triston with a ring—first day of forever! Triston not only surprised Morgan with a ring, but he also arranged for her parents to be in Kentucky to celebrate this exciting moment.

And now, to today. We are so excited to marry each other on June 5, 2026! As we enter this next chapter of our story, we would like to thank each and every one of you who has made an impact on our lives. We wouldn’t be here without you. If you take anything from our story, know that love can always be found in the most unexpected moments and ways. Triston and I have had high highs and low lows—together and apart—but we have always turned to each other for peace and love, and always will. Our love story is very unique (and a little crazy), but it is pure and everlasting. Thank you for being here, and we hope you enjoy celebrating with us!
